Any changes to the financial climate offer opportunities to those brave enough to exploit them. In order to recognise opportunities investors must above all understand how to react to these forces. What will remain is the power struggle between the US and China, and Brexit still continues to make headlines, leaving its marks on the political scene and cause a political imbalance. Added to that we are still faced with permanently low interest rates and continuing economic gloom. This in turn causes the clouds overshadowing the investment markets to darken. Despite this stock markets are booming, not least because of the central banks’ continuing low-interest policy. But is it enough and will the situation continue as it is?
Given the greater investment risk and lower yields, investors are increasingly looking towards alternative investment markets. They are increasingly found in environmental, social and governance (ESG) funds. The connection between sustainability and entrepreneurship without incurring any performance penalties may not be a new invention but it is becoming increasingly important and attractive. Together with prominent sector representatives, we will be exploring the key question of what a portfolio should consist of in a world such as this. Join us and you can expect to receive valuable guidance to give you the spark you need to make the best investment decisions.
