Operations at FE Fundinfo

Operations is the largest function within FE fundinfo.  With customer support and data teams housed here, we aim to deliver first class customer service and ensure a consistent level of data quality and integrity is provided to our customers.  Supported by our Customer Support team, the operations function ensures our customers get the best possible experience from the products and services they receive.

About the role

The GFR team is an integral part of the operations function at FEf. The GFR team in particular assists clients with the practical, regulatory, compliance and administrative requirements associated with marketing investment funds globally and feeds this back into the company to better service clients.

The team is client facing and has continuous communication with financial regulators, primarily in Europe, but also further afield. We work with a global network of law firms in order to provide our clients and colleagues with the ability to function in a global financial economy.

The team is comprised of specialist regulatory and compliance experts in cross border investment fund distribution providing an outsourced service to of clients’ fund distribution, as well as offering solutions to their funds’ needs within the wider company. The aim is to provide clients with a coordinated solution to all their fund distribution and information needs.

In order to support the continued growth of our team, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Registration Associate. This role is ideally suited to investment funds professional with a legal, regulatory and/or compliance background. 

 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing and delivering targets for multiple clients independently
  • Meet client’s ongoing maintenance of funds’ legal offering documents in each market
  • Assist with updating of client Prospectuses as and when required
  • Publication and local filing of Prospectuses where required in various jurisdictions
  • Publication and local filing of KIIDs where required in various jurisdictions
  • Manage local supplements as appropriate
  • Carry out client requests for access to overseas markets from initial proposal to successful registrations and then compliantly maintaining the permissions in the market
  • Manage relationship with clients raising opportunities and issues to manager, alongside potential solutions
  • Manage relationship and work closely with third parties
  • Ensure the client’s fund remains compliant and meets the maintenance requirements of existing registrations
  • Support and contribute to GFR projects where required
  • Take an active role in knowledge sharing in GFR and wider FEf
  • Ensure internal drives/systems/databases are updated with the latest fund documentation/information
  • Support the maintenance of procedure notes and other administrative duties
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned

 

Technical skills and qualifications

  • Proven working knowledge/experience in the of fund industry and/or legal fund documentation
  • Knowledge of the UCITS and AIFMD Directives would be desirable
  • Experience with regulatory frameworks would be desirable
  • Experienced using Outlook 365
  • Competent using Salesforce desirable
