FE fundinfo is seeking an HRIS analyst whose primarily responsibility will be to act as super user for the Global HRIS – Sage People and to manage monthly headcount reporting requirements.  We launched Sage People (known internally as PeopleHub) as our Global HR tool in June 2020 and we are now looking for a dedicated individual to become the subject matter expert in the tool.   We currently have the following “live modules”: Core HR, Absence, Objectives, Performance & Recognition and will shortly be launching Compensation Planning.

The role will work closely with Local HR Managers who are situated in Chennai, UK, Switzerland, Czech Republic and Luxembourg to help them maximize the true value out of the tool, to ensure data integrity is maintained (with a strong focus on data accuracy and timeliness), and to support the Global HR team in headcount reporting requirements.  The super user will be responsible for ensuring the tool is set up appropriately for each country and will make any required system changes / updates to comply with local legislation as and when required.  The role reports into the HR Operations & Transformation Manager who is based in London, UK.

Manage the monthly headcount reporting process – ensuring HR data is complete & accurate for all locations, and working closely with finance to complete HR dashboard that tells our “people story”

Pro-active data gap checking to ensure functional alignment of people data

Act as super user for PeopleHub which includes but is not limited to:

Solving issues as and when they arise in the tool by working closely with the local HR Managers and leveraging the Sage Support material / help desk to help with resolution where required

Making any agreed and approved changes to existing configuration in the tool

Explore the manager analytics module of PeopleHub with a view to creating a suite of global management reports accessible via self service (and continue to provide ad hoc reporting to key stakeholders in the interim)

Work closely with the Sage team to understand and manage new releases / product enhancements, ensuring upcoming changes are well documented and communicated to relevant stakeholders as required (typically 1 to 2 releases a year: Spring & Winter)

Work with the HR Operations & transformation manager on deploying new functionality in the tool as per the PeopleHub roadmap

Act as PeopleHub champion and look to continuously improve our existing functionality by joining webinars / reading update material provided by Sage or Phase 3 relating to upcoming releases

Create and maintain appropriate help and user guides for the HR population as a reference point to facilitate their learning and to remove yourself as a key dependency for issue resolution / quick “how can I” type queries

Whilst this is a standalone role, and the only HR Operations role based in Chennai, you will also form part of the broader HR team in Chennai housing Business Partner, Payroll and L&D roles

2-3+ year experience of working with HR systems, ideally SaaS – does not need to have Sage People experience specifically but experience of SaaS systems such as Workday, Success Factors (SAP), Salesforce would be strongly beneficial

You have strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail

You have experience of problem solving and are eager to truly understand the ins and outs of how the system operates

A tenacious attitude will be needed – a completer / finisher who will work diligently to ensure a piece of work is fully complete with no gaps

Advanced excel skills are required to facilitate analysis of data, (experience of tableau would be beneficial)

Previous experience of working for a global organisation with stakeholders in different countries and time zones would be beneficial

Experience of working with senior leadership and managing stakeholder expectations would be beneficial
