Mid to senior level journalist

Australia's leading business-to-business financial services publication, Money Management, is seeking a mid to senior level to join our Sydney CBD-based office on a full-time basis.

About the role:

This role represents an opportunity to advance your career in journalism and work in a fast-paced collegiate environment. It would suit a journalist with at least three years of experience.

The applicant would be required to write daily financial services-related news stories across our digital platforms and produce features for our fortnightly print publication, as well as assisting the editorial team with sub-editing for both print and online.

The applicant would also be required to work to tight deadlines, particularly for breaking news and daily morning newsletters.  

The position entails the use of funds data and relevant training will be provided.

Skills and attributes:

  • Relevant degree qualification in journalism or communications would be highly regarded;
  • Experience in financial or business reporting would be an advantage;
  • Ability to work to deadlines (daily if not hourly);
  • Excellent organisational skills; and
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
