Our Operations team is crucial to the success of our industry-renowned customer service function; this function is vital in enabling our clients to achieve their business goals. As the largest team in our company, operations works across every area of the business in varying roles, from data and product experts to customer service specialists. The team is also responsible for the quality and integrity of the investment data on which our clients rely.

Global Funds Registration (‘GFR’) is a specialised service with Operations that provides fund managers with expert support to allow them to expand the distribution of their funds’ worldwide.

 

Our service is to provide fund managers with the initial and on-going requirements in target markets to enable them to distribute their funds in overseas jurisdictions and then a service to deliver and meet these efficiently and compliantly. 

Our primary aim is to be our clients’ first point of contact when considering marketing their fund overseas and be a trusted outsourced expert on their fund, the cross-border registrations it aims to achieve, and the ongoing compliance of the funds’ distribution footprint.

We also provide clients with regular information on regulatory changes, market expectations and ad hoc advise on market approaches. This knowledge and relationship allow our clients to rely on us to meet the legal requirements in foreign markets, as well as putting them in the best position possible to be profitable in any of their chosen markets.
 
Duties and responsibilities

  • Be responsible for managing and delivering targets for your own set of clients
  • Meet client’s ongoing maintenance of funds’ legal offering documents in each market
  • Assist with updating of client Prospectuses as and when required
  • Publication and local filing of Prospectuses where required in various jurisdictions
  • Publication and local filing of KIIDs where required in various jurisdictions
  • Manage local supplements as appropriate
  • Carry out client requests for access to overseas markets from initial proposal to successful registrations and then compliantly maintaining the permissions in the market
  • Manage relationship and work closely with clients
  • Manage relationship and work closely with third parties
  • Ensure the client’s fund remains compliant and meets the maintenance requirements of existing registrations
  • Support and contribute to GFR projects where required
  • Assist with the training and knowledge share in GFR and wider FEf
  • Ensure internal drives/databases are updated with the latest fund documentation
  • Support the maintenance of procedure notes and other administrative duties
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned

 

Technical skills and qualifications

  • Proven working knowledge of fund industry and/or documentation
  • Knowledge of the UCITS and AIFMD Directives
  • Experience with regulatory frameworks would be desirable
  • Competent with Outlook 365 and Salesforce desirable
