FE fundinfo appoints Maryam Longrus as Head of Private Markets in strategic move to expand into private capital
The appointment supports FE fundinfo’s strategy to expand its Nexus platform into private markets, connecting the asset and wealth management ecosystems through a single, trusted source of data
FE fundinfo, a leading financial data company connecting the investment industry across the UK, Europe and Asia Pacific, has announced the appointment of Maryam Longrus as Head of Private Markets. This marks a key milestone in FE fundinfo’s strategy to expand its Nexus platform into this fast-growing area, where capital deployment rose by double-digits in 2024.
With over 20 years in financial services, Maryam brings deep expertise in private markets and a strong track record of innovation - including driving technology innovations that support the growing distribution of alternative assets to the wealth market, aligning with key industry trends and client needs. In her new role, she will lead the development of technology and data solutions that help FE fundinfo clients meet investor expectations and regulatory demands, while fostering collaboration across investors, fund managers and technology providers.
Maryam’s appointment reflects FE fundinfo’s commitment to extending its trusted Nexus ecosystem into private markets collecting, structuring, storing, managing, reporting and distributing private equity, credit, debt and real asset information with the same level of data efficiency and quality as in public markets on one platform.
Maryam Longrus, Head of Private Markets at FE fundinfo, said:
“Private markets are expanding rapidly, but the technology and data infrastructure supporting them hasn’t kept pace. Many firms still face challenges with fragmented systems and manual processes that limit transparency and insight. What excites me about FE fundinfo is its clear vision for solving that - connecting the pieces of private markets through data and technology that truly work for asset and wealth managers. I’m looking forward to helping our clients build more efficient, informed and connected operations.”
Liam Healy, Chief Executive Officer at FE fundinfo, added:
“Maryam brings a rare combination of deep private markets knowledge and experience scaling data and technology offerings that will meet the needs of our clients. Her appointment comes at an important time as we extend the Nexus platform into private markets, enabling clients to manage their private market investment products through to the widest distribution network in the UK, Europe and APAC. Her leadership will be key as we continue to help our clients meet the market trends as multi-class portfolios now include more private share classes."
