Liam Healy is the Chief Executive Officer of FE fundinfo, a global leader in investment fund data and technology connecting the fund management industry to inform better investment decisions.
Liam was appointed in this role in September 2023 and is responsible for all day-to-day operations. He brings with him more than 15 years of executive leadership experience, focused on delivering client value through go-to-market strategy (GTM), product and technology delivery, and mergers and acquisitions.
David Bower, the Global Head of Business Development, leads the organisation’s expansion in asset management.
Highly experienced within the investment industry, David joins FE fundinfo after consulting with Sanlam where he was responsible for leading a variety of strategic change management projects. Prior to this he was Head of Marketing in the EMEA Region for Invesco and has also held senior management positions at BlackRock and iShares.
Paul has more than 25 years’ experience as a technologist in the financial markets arena, working in world-class organisations across capital markets, brokerage, private banking and energy trading. He has also held senior roles in banks as well as software & FinTech consulting organisations.
Paul joined FE fundinfo in 2019 and leads our technology strategy globally.
Mikkel has extensive experience in all aspects of marketing and communications in addition to in-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and how to meet these. He has currently retired from FE fundinfo but continue to provide consultancy work.
Mikkel has worked with both multinational organisations to launch innovative new products and start-ups to develop marketing strategies and establish strong market positions.
Martyn Chappell is Dimensional’s Head of UK Wealth Management and is based out of the London office. Dimensional’s UK Wealth Management channel focuses on developing new and existing relationships with national advisers, wealth managers, discretionary fund managers, private banks and family offices.
Martyn has more than 18 years of experience working within intermediary distribution and has provided guidance on business planning, technical support and investment practice.
Martyn has achieved Fellowship of the Personal Finance Society, has attained Chartered Financial Planner status and is an affiliate of the Society of Tax and Estate Practitioners (STEP). He holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Brighton and studied business consultancy at Strathclyde Business School.
Iain leads the Custom Wealth Solutions teams in EMEA and APAC for Franklin Templeton; collaborating with platforms and networks to design and deliver digital advice tools, blended with investment products and funds.
Franklin has grown significantly in EMEA in the last 5-years, probably better known to many in the room by its sub-brands – such as Legg Mason, Putnam Investments, ClearBridge, Martin Currie and Lexington Partners.
Iain’s teams bridge the art-of-the-possible with the practicalities of today’s ecosystem; developing exciting propositions for new and emerging customer bases.
Prior to Franklin Templeton, his career was focused on managing ranges of model portfolios and quant strategies.
Nick became editor of Funds Europe in 2007, having previously been deputy editor on another financial title. With a background in local newspapers, Nick has reported on general news but especially finance and asset management throughout his career. He specialises in private markets, technology and regulation.
Caroline Bowles is the Director of Strategy Execution at BNY Investments Distribution, Europe. With over 25 years of experience in the Asset Management Industry, Caroline has previously held roles such as Head of Institutional Marketing for Europe and Head of Strategy and Planning for UK Funds Distribution.
Ed Venner joined Royal London Asset Management in May 2024 as Chief Client Officer with responsibility for overall distribution strategy and client proposition development. Previously, Ed was Global Distribution Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Franklin Templeton. Prior to Franklin Templeton’s acquisition of Legg Mason in 2020, Ed held the role of Head of US Sales and COO for Global Distribution at Legg Mason having previously served as International Chief Financial Officer and in other finance roles at the firm. Ed also spent a year acting as Head of Global Distribution in 2017. He was also Chair of the Board for Martin Currie. Prior to joining Legg Mason, Ed trained as a chartered accountant with Ernst & Young in their London Asset Management practice. In his current role, Ed is a member of the Royal London Asset Management Executive Committee, and chairs the Customer and Product Committee. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (with honours) in Economics from the University of Durham, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Charlotte is the Head of Innovation, Fintech and AI Strategy at Schroders, where she is globally responsible for the company’s Generative AI strategy, as well as startup engagement and innovation.
She is focused on bringing AI technology into Schroders in a safe way, to deliver value for the company and its clients. Her team also builds central AI capabilities such as Genie, an internal AI assistant, which was launched across the global business early last year.
The Innovation and Fintech team drive Schroders’ strategic approach to innovation, including assessing industry trends and working with the company’s leadership to connect and work with early stage companies.
