FE fundinfo announces 2026 Platform Platinum Ratings winners

Quilter retains the top spot for the third year running, driven by strong performance across price, user experience and due diligence

FE fundinfo, a leading financial data company connecting the investment industry across the UK, Europe and Asia Pacific through its Nexus platform, has today announced the winners of its 2026 Platform Platinum Ratings. These Ratings are a benchmark in evaluating financial advisers’ platform performances and show excellence within the UK Platform industry.

Quilter, Transact, Aviva Wrap, Fidelity Adviser Solutions, Aberdeen Wrap platform, Hubwise, Nucleus, AJ Bell Investcentre, Scottish Widows Platform and Parmenion make up the top ten Platinum-ranked platforms for 2026. 

Quilter has been ranked the highest platform for the third consecutive year. Consistent performance across price competitiveness, user experience and due diligence metrics underpinned its continued leadership, reinforcing its position as the most frequently considered platform among advisers.

Several platforms delivered standout improvements in 2026, signalling a more competitive and dynamic market. Nucleus had the largest movement up the rankings, rising eight places, having delivered consistent performance across service, search frequency and pricing metrics.

Scottish Widows has moved up the rankings as well due to frequently meeting advisers’ search requirements and regular appearances among the top three in due diligence searches. 

Other notable platforms include Parmenion, which moved up six places, driven by the highest service quality score for remote sales support. Hubwise achieved the third-largest movement up the rankings due to price competitiveness, ranking in the top three on pricing measures in 85% of assessments.

The Platform Platinum Ratings, previously known as the FE Adviser Asset Platinum Ratings and in their 11th year, draw on enhanced adviser insight, incorporating feedback across 28 individual aspects of platform user experience captured through the FE Analytics platform switching tool.

With data refreshed monthly, the Platform Platinum Ratings provide an independently verified view of platform performance, supporting advisers as they navigate an increasingly competitive and complex platform market.

Methodology

Platform Platinum ratings are calculated using a combination of market data and direct adviser feedback.

The adviser feedback, given within the platform switching tool, assesses platform performance in 28 aspects of user experience. This brings an independent adviser-focused insight of platform effectiveness that market data alone could not capture.

The survey and market data is then used to calculate a holistic platform score for each platform against its peers across these eight key areas:

  • Price Competitiveness – Platforms ranked in the top three for pricing within charge-based comparisons
  • Reach of Proposition – Evaluating the breadth of charge-based tools
  • Penetration and Conversion Rate – Measuring how effectively platforms convert adviser engagement into transactions
  • Case Size – Analysing the size and complexity of cases handled
  • Transaction processing experience – Based on user survey
  • Client reporting experience – Based on user survey 
  • Remote support experience – Based on user survey
  • Platform Features & Due Diligence – Assessing platforms based on their functionality and presence in independent due diligence reports.

The scores in these eight areas are then aggregated to deliver the overall rankings. The top ten platforms annually are awarded a Platform Platinum Rating.
