FE fundinfo brings the entire advice journey together in Nexus for Financial Advisers, powered by AI, and moves faster than ever

A major new phase of investment gives advisers one connected platform, not a patchwork of systems, with more than 25 new capabilities landing by year-end.

FE fundinfo today confirmed it is accelerating investment in Nexus for Financial Advisers, a unified, AI-powered workflow platform built on the breadth of FE fundinfo's data, designed to support the entire advice journey by bringing together the disconnected systems most advice firms rely on today. More than 25 new capabilities will be added to the platform by the end of the year.

Advisers want to spend their time with clients, not managing systems, but the cost of serving them well has kept advice out of reach for many, with rising demand now forcing firms to grow without losing that personal touch. Today, too much time goes into administration, with advisers switching between disconnected tools for meetings, cashflow planning, investment research, suitability, compliance and CRM, re-keying data, losing context and creating gaps in the audit trail. According to FE fundinfo's 2026 Financial Adviser Survey, 95% say they use too many software applications, with half spending four to six hours a week reconciling data between systems, close to five working weeks a year lost to admin rather than clients.

Nexus for Financial Advisers is designed to close that gap by reimagining the operating model, powered with trusted financial data, giving advisers a new layer of insight and intelligence built directly into the way they already work. Advisers already move between client data, investment research and cashflow planning without switching tools or re-keying data. Practice management will follow, extending that same connected experience into firm-level oversight.

New capabilities will land on Nexus for Financial Advisers every month for the rest of 2026. In addition to the connections already underway, AI-powered fund research and cashflow modelling are being added this Autumn, so advisers can run whole-of-market research and model client scenarios without leaving the platform, and firm-level compliance reporting follows, giving principals the same connected oversight advisers already have. What sets Nexus for Financial Advisers apart is the breadth of data behind it, drawing on decades of research and analysis.

AI adoption is accelerating, and firms using it are seeing material gains, with AI-using advisers saving more than five hours per week, over 250 hours a year, giving them real capacity to serve more clients. According to the Financial Adviser survey, 51% of AI-using firms reported these gains through automations and newfound efficiencies. In response, FE fundinfo is investing in its unified, AI-powered workflow platform, Nexus for Financial Advisers, in four key areas for the remainder of 2026: a unified adviser workspace; AI-powered intelligence that builds the client record automatically from meeting conversations; AI-driven report generation, including suitability reports; and deeper technology integration across the systems advisers already use.

Nexus Assistant, live for more than 1,000 advisers, is the first major milestone of this accelerated development, helping advisers prepare for every meeting, capturing the conversation, and updating the client record automatically, saving up to three hours per meeting.

This Autumn, advisers will receive additional capabilities such as integrations with the most common back-office systems in the market, so client data moves straight into Nexus without re-keying, and a full client profile, so every adviser sees one complete record without switching platforms. The same period also brings AI-generated suitability reporting, one of the highest admin friction points advisers face today, connecting the client profile directly to a compliant, evidence-backed report. AI outputs are attributed to their source, and adviser actions are auditable, so firms can adopt AI with confidence.

Liam Healy, CEO at FE fundinfo, said:

"Advice technology was built one tool at a time, not designed around the adviser or the client. We're changing that. Nexus for Financial Advisers reimagines the advice journey, connected by AI, grounded in trusted research and analytics, so advisers move from first conversation to advice on one platform. The outcome: exponential value for advisers and their clients. Nexus for Financial Advisers is where we're putting real investment behind that vision. This is just the beginning."

Ishaan Sethi, Head of UK Wealth Products at FE fundinfo, said:

"Advisers do not want more software, they want more capacity. Nexus for Financial Advisers gives them one connected platform instead of another tool to manage. Anyone can build an AI feature. What makes it useful is the data behind it. Nexus draws on client, cashflow, product performance and cost data across the whole advice journey, and every output is attributed to its source. That is what creates a seamless client journey on a single platform, and what lets advisers trust the output and act on it."
