FE fundinfo brings the full advice journey into one connected experience with Nexus for Financial Advisers

Nexus connects the advice journey in a single workflow and is opening to the CRM systems advice firms already run, starting with intelliflo

FE fundinfo today announced the next phase of Nexus for Financial Advisers, the platform that brings investment research, cashflow planning and client meetings into one workflow. The update deepens connection to the CRM systems advice firms already use, starting with intelliflo, with further integrations to follow by the end of the year.

Through Nexus Assistant's meeting workflow, advisers can now pull intelliflo data into the platform, closing a data gap that previously required manual work to fill, and push information captured in Nexus workflows back into intelliflo.

Nexus for Financial Advisers brings together the data, technology and workflows advisers use across the advice journey in one place. Work moves from research to planning to the client meeting and into the client record without the adviser leaving the platform or learning a different interface at each step.

The UK advice gap is not simply a question of demand, but capacity. More people could benefit from financial advice than the industry currently has capacity to support, making it increasingly important that advisers can spend more time with clients rather than on administration. Research from FE fundinfo's Financial Adviser Survey 2026 found that 95% of advisers say they use too many software applications, and reconciling data between them costs the average adviser 192 hours a year, nearly five working weeks that could otherwise go to clients.

Ishaan Sethi, Head of UK Wealth Products at FE fundinfo, said:

"Advisers should not have to change the way they work to accommodate their technology. Firms have built their stacks over many years, and the systems they rely on should connect to the rest of the advice journey rather than sit outside it. Our focus is on giving advisers one place to do the work, open to the tools they have already chosen, so they spend less time managing systems and more time with their clients."

FE fundinfo's data already underpins advice at more than 3,900 UK advice firms, spanning more than 100,000 active funds and 300,000 share classes globally. Additional capabilities for Nexus for Financial Advisers will follow by the end of 2026.
