New Android and iOS app connects in-person meetings to the investment research, cashflow planning and video meeting workflows advisers already run in Nexus

London, 2 September 2026 - FE fundinfo today launched a mobile app for Nexus for Financial Advisers, opening up its AI-powered meeting support to face-to-face client meetings for the first time.

Nexus for Financial Advisers brings together the data, technology and workflows advisers use across the advice journey in one connected platform, and the mobile app extends that same approach to another part of how advisers work. Information captured during an in-person conversation becomes part of the same connected client record used across the wider advice process, rather than sitting in a separate, standalone tool.

Recorded on a phone or tablet and assigned to a client, the meeting follows the same workflow as a video meeting, including transcription, structured note generation, extraction of client data, as well as adviser review and approval, before information is transferred into Nexus for Financial Advisers or a connected CRM. AI-generated outputs are attributed to their source, while adviser actions remain auditable.

Until now, that workflow stopped at the meeting room door. A significant proportion of adviser-client meetings happen face-to-face, and that data has sat apart from the rest of the advice process, resulting in a gap in an otherwise connected workflow.

That fragmentation creates a significant administrative burden for advisers. Research from FE fundinfo’s Financial Adviser Survey 2026 found that 95% of advisers say they use too many software applications, and reconciling data between them costs the average adviser 192 hours a year, nearly five working weeks that could otherwise go to clients.

Christian Wynne, Financial Planner at Factor Financial Planning, commented:

"Nexus and Nexus Assistant have significantly reduced the amount of time we spend on meeting admin. The mobile app means face-to-face meetings will now sit in the same place as everything else I do for a client on Nexus for Financial Advisers, not a separate note I have to catch up on later, but part of the one record I already work from.”

The mobile app forms part of FE fundinfo’s accelerated investment in Nexus for Financial Advisers, with more than 25 new capabilities planned by the end of 2026. The platform combines FE fundinfo’s financial data, research and analytics with AI-powered workflows, reducing the time advisers spend moving between systems and manually managing information throughout the client journey.

Further developments this autumn include AI-generated suitability reporting, automated client vulnerability assessment, expanded back-office integrations, a consolidated client profile and AI-powered fund research and cashflow modelling.

Ishaan Sethi, Head of UK Wealth Products at FE fundinfo, said:

“Advisers should not have to change the way they work with clients to accommodate their technology. Whether a conversation happens over video or face-to-face, the information captured should be able to support what happens next without creating another manual process for the adviser. As we continue to add new capabilities to Nexus, our focus is on connecting those individual workflows so advisers spend less time managing systems and more time with their clients."

The Nexus for Financial Advisers mobile app is available to all Nexus Assistant users and accessible on Android and iOS.
