FE fundinfo strengthens executive leadership with appointments of Lisa Maxwell as Chief Legal Officer and Paul Ronan as Chief Technology & Data Officer

The internal promotions reflect FE fundinfo’s commitment to be the trusted partner of investment and wealth managers, helping address key industry challenges related to efficiency, compliance and growth

FE fundinfo, a leading financial data company connecting the investment industry across the UK, Europe and Asia Pacific, has today announced two senior promotions on its Executive Leadership Team: Lisa Maxwell has been appointed Chief Legal Officer (CLO) and Paul Ronan will take on an expanded role as Chief Technology & Data Officer (CTDO).

Lisa Maxwell will oversee FE fundinfo’s global governance, risk, legal and compliance - in addition to company secretarial and information security. Paul Ronan will continue leading the company’s technology, data and AI strategy, including the development and delivery of its global Nexus platform.

Strengthening governance and trust through legal leadership

Lisa Maxwell’s promotion reflects FE fundinfo’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its governance, risk and compliance (GRC) approach and operational resilience as it continues to expand its global footprint and scale its technology-driven services for the investment industry. As CLO, she will provide strategic oversight and leadership to support the company’s mission of driving greater trust, transparency and efficiency throughout the investment management community.

Since joining FE fundinfo in 2021 as General Counsel, Lisa Maxwell has played a key role in strengthening the company’s legal and compliance frameworks during a period of rapid international growth. She will lead efforts to align the company's legal, compliance and risk management strategy with broader business objectives, ensuring FE fundinfo continues to operate responsibly, sustainably and at pace with industry change.

Lisa brings extensive experience in corporate transactions, litigation, M&A integration, and regulatory compliance, along with a proven track record of leading change in complex, international organisations.

Accelerating innovation through data and AI strategy

Paul Ronan, formerly Chief Technology Officer, will assume the expanded role of Chief Technology & Data Officer (CTDO). This change reflects the company’s commitment to using data and AI as strategic enablers, transforming how fund information is managed, processed and delivered across the investment value chain.

Paul Ronan now leads FE fundinfo’s global tech and data strategy, overseeing AI-enabled platforms like Nexus AI and driving innovation in engineering, data science and automation. Under his leadership, FE fundinfo is advancing its use of machine learning, anomaly detection and agentic technologies to improve data quality, speed, and simplify investment data management. Driving FE fundinfo’s AI enablement strategy, Paul Ronan helps clients integrate their AI models with structured data and APIs for smarter workflows and deeper insights. This positions FE fundinfo as a key partner in the digital transformation of investment and wealth management.

With over 25 years in financial markets, including capital markets, brokerage, private banking and energy trading, Paul Ronan has held senior roles in banks and FinTech consultancies, building high-performance tech systems across global markets.

Lisa Maxwell, Chief Legal Officer at FE fundinfo, said:
