On Demand: Private Markets Survey Report 2026 Webinar

What 200 senior investment managers and wealth managers told us about scaling private markets, and where data and suitability are holding delivery back.

Private markets have moved from a speculative allocation to a core pillar of growth. Every respondent in our latest survey said private markets are a priority over the next three years, yet just 17% of wealth managers and 9% of investment managers describe their participation for retail and high net worth (HNW) clients as mature.

Public discussion centres on liquidity, but only 18% of respondents cite it as a major barrier to scaling access. Suitability and client understanding rank highest, at 45% for investment managers and 36% for wealth managers. Data is the common thread. In our survey, 90% of wealth managers say they are well equipped for public and private convergence, yet only 6% have fully integrated data systems.

In this webinar, we will walk through the findings of our Private Markets Survey Report 2026. You will see where the friction sits and where firms are investing to remove it.

What this session covers:

  • Ambition and intent: how investment managers and wealth managers rank private markets in their growth strategies, and which asset classes, fund structures and distribution channels they plan to prioritise.
  • The state of participation: why wealth managers are further ahead than investment managers on client-facing delivery, and what that means for product supply.
  • The friction points practitioners feel: why suitability and client understanding outrank liquidity, and why portfolio construction constraints matter most to wealth managers.
  • Data and infrastructure: why valuation, net asset value (NAV) and cashflow data create the heaviest operational burden, and how the gap between confidence and capability shows up in practice.
  • Next steps: where firms are investing in portfolio analytics, workflow automation and AI, and why most plan to work with specialist vendors.

Who should attend

This session is for heads of product, distribution and operations, as well as investment managers and wealth managers. It is also for portfolio construction and operations teams and wealth managers. Compliance and risk teams shaping suitability and onboarding workflows will find it relevant too.

Your host:

Maryam Longrus, Head of Private Markets, will lead the session, sharing her expertise and answering your private markets questions (submit questions via the registration form).
