Personal message from Ray Adams: Why we're joining the FE fundinfo family

CashCalc founder, Ray Adams, shares a personal message regarding the reason why we are joining the FE fundinfo family.

Last week, it was officially announced that we would be joining the FE fundinfo family – a significant milestone for us and everyone involved over the last 7 years. But why have we decided to join the FE fundinfo family? And what does the future look like? Ray Adams, Chartered Financial Planner and founder of CashCalc, has recorded a short personal message to explain.

Ever since we launched CashCalc in May 2014, it has been our mission to develop an online suite of financial planning tools specifically designed to help you and your entire financial planning process. From enhancing client engagement to improving efficiencies, we have been striving to provide the tools you need to do your job and achieve your goals.

During that time, we've been able to develop a market leading and award-winning Cashflow Modeller alongside an online suite of tools including onboarding, integrations and much more. But we want to develop CashCalc even more. It's taken us 7 years to create our existing suite of tools, and we don't want to wait a further 7 years to implement all the ideas we have.

How has CashCalc helped you over the years? We'd love to hear your story and discover how our online suite of tools has helped you and your financial planning process.

So by joining the FE fundinfo family, we'll be able to develop and implement new tools and features even quicker and even better. For example, we currently have a team of 8 developers, whereas FE fundinfo have approximately 150 developers in their team to help and support us develop an even better online suite of tools.

We are incredibly excited to join the FE fundinfo family, who share the same client-centric approach as us. But just to reassure everyone, CashCalc will remain a stand-alone product and the team will remain unchanged. We’ll continue to operate from our base in Newport with the same team who have helped grow CashCalc, with founder Ray Adams continuing in his role.

All of us at CashCalc would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported us over the years. From simply registering an account to providing valuable feedback, your support has been instrumental and we are all very much looking forward to what the future holds.
